Well, of course whoever this is has a Vallejo print on the wall. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Weirdly, their other print seems to be that famous Russian painting showing Ivan The Terrible pretending to abdicate and leave Moscow. (but really he just wanted to see who was happy when he left. Later on, those people were sorry)
Yes, I forget its name without looking it up, but it’s from Alphonse Mucha’s Slav Epic. I thought it would be a funny thing to have on the wall.
Your Lana pin-ups for VDSD never ever disappoint. I am delighted that this year is no exception.
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Well, well, well, looks who’s busting out of the airvent here!
๐ ๐
Ow that hurt. I was laughing but it hurt all the same.
Well, she better hurry or she’ll get busted!
Don’t “bust” your gut.
That would mean there’s something seriously wrong with your basic anatomy.
In totally no direct relational to anything else in the commentary field here.
Very nice voting incentive! (Y)
Thank you!
So the supposedly most secure room in the house can be reached from the outside by the air vents?
I would demand a refund from that security consultant that came up with air duct large enough for even someone of Lanas impressive chest measurement to crawl through. :D:D
..she did have to breath sparingly though.
The vent opening was inside the house, don’t forget! Besides, the security consultants probably didn’t have someone with Lana’s measurements to test it with. ๐
Since chest measurements (that is, measuring around the ribcage plus allowing for the width of shoulders) is the largest part to fit through an opening, they probably should have designed the vent system to be no bigger than someone’s head.
Although Lana’s probably run into guys with some pretty large heads during her career…

Now there is a picture on the wall I’m not familiar with. From the look of the two person, I would say Boris Vallejo, while the background reminds me of Luis Royo, so I’m pretty sure this picture is made by a different artist. Can you help me? It made me curious. ๐
It’s by Joe Jusko. One of my favorites from him.
I’m not sure, but I think I’ve seen that pic serving as a front cover on an issue of Marvel’s old Conan comics.
Could be. It was originally illustrating a scene in a Tarzan story, I believe. Joe Jusko has a lot of really good art out there. I’ve got a couple of his art books, which I would recommend.
Before it’s too late? The plot thickens…
Which is good because it was pretty thin! ๐
Okay, serious post here. One of the things I like about Lana beyond the obvious is there’s no epic story arc of character deconstruction. Lana is just awesome, and does her thing. Too many “clean” stories have forgotten this art.
Thanks, I appreciate that! I personally like the format of self-contained storylines. I tend to get bored with “sagas”.
Sagas I can live with. Sagas that treat the character/their suporting cast like garbage/victims, on the other hand, drive me nuts. Lara does her thang and isn’t consumed with doubt or despair etc etc etc
