It’s a look. Not necessarily a great look, but a look.
I would love to see a story where Lana is greatly needed (when is she not?) but for one reason or another isn’t available (perhaps another vacation?) and the Chief gets some kind of commupance.
Unfortunately, as satisfying as that would be, Lana’s luck isn’t that good.
Maybe someday, Lana. Maybe someday.
Yes, although I don’t think the world is ready for the Chief trying to handle a mission himself! 😀

goth crap was In during the 90’s. I blame that damn Vampire Da Masky-Raid game.
we banned that game from the store I helped run. a few towns over some kids thought it would be cool to play that in real life..using unsuspecting bystanders as part of the game.
well one bystander happened to be armed, and didn’t care much for a pale guy in a cape and fake teeth trying to scare the heck out of her. 5 rounds of .38 special later, he found out that the whole “immune to bullets” thing was an in-game-only power…
That’s Vampires the Masquerade Bloodlines to you! Or VtMB for short :p It was as buggy as it was great.

One of my life’s goals was to become a dirty-minded old man.
I had mastered the “dirty-minded” part by the time I got to my mid-20’s. At this point, I don’t have much longer to wait to achieve the “old” part.

at first, I was admiring the view, then I was questioning why she wasn’t actually being hit, then I remembered… the view. 😀
Thanks for providing a great reason why Lana isn’t shot nearly as often as she probably should be, given how her support from the Chief usually goes 😀

So are we ever going to see why Lana hasn’t quit this Agency yet? Because I find it hard to believe that she hasn’t actually quit in the past due to how her fellow agents and the Boss have screwed her over.
I’m surprised you haven’t done something like a flashback arc to show that Lana actually quit but found that other spy agencies are so much worse for her in other ways (i.e. she actually has to be covert and actually be like a spy in her missions and so they last a lot longer.). She will of course eventually go back to the Agency.
There was that time she almost got a job in shoe sales!
Or that time she worked for the other spy in “Second Skin”.
That guy was the complete opposite of the Chief.
But i think this is just a case of Lana going for the devil you know than the devil you don’t know (and yes i know this is the Chief that we are talking about here, but its a possibility).
Yes, maybe it’s just one of those mysteries for the ages. 😀
I think she’s still working off that boob-job they paid for…
once that’s paid off, she’s SO outta there!

basically just another normal day at the office.
