Josh should have asked for their help, rather than telling them to go away. He could use all the help he can get, and either they’d give it to him, or they’d go away.
Telling someone to go away suggests that they’d have a reason to stick around. Asking someone for help means they might be better off leaving you alone.
But of course Josh is just going to dig his hole even deeper. He’s obligated!
Panel 1 is gold! Not only is Josh is no expert, he has so obviously not even bothered to open the Kodekrakker X package before the mission. “Where is that quick start guide” had me in stitches.
That not-akward-moment-if-Josh-is-involved moment when the secret suitcase is about to fall from the worst hands it could fell, onto the not-so-really bad hands it could fell.
Why am I not surprised that Josh stupidly goes through the suit case in a very unsecured area where anyone could stumble upon him. I wouldn’t be surprised if Josh gets his ass beat hard because he’s so incompetent that even untrained civilians will be able to kick his ass.
Josh, we already know you’re a king of stupidity. There is no need for you to try and defend your territory.
It’s not easy being the king!

That’s good thinking, which is probably why it didn’t occur to Josh!

Thank you! Yeah, he’s not exactly the most prepared!
Dude didn’t even leave the alley … genius.
Good decision-making is not Josh’s strongsuit.
I think even if we didn’t know Josh already, my money would be on the other dude.
Betting against Josh is the very definition of a safe bet!
– two handed facepalm –
(sometimes words just aren’t needed.)
True!
That not-akward-moment-if-Josh-is-involved moment when the secret suitcase is about to fall from the worst hands it could fell, onto the not-so-really bad hands it could fell.
Either way, it’s not looking good for the case!
No, Josh. =_= No.
Josh is going to get his ass kicked so hard…. when Lana finds out that he lost the case to 2 drunk dudes.
It’s not looking good for Josh!
Screwing up with josh look those dudes are drunk what is Josh’s excuse?
Good question!
Screwing up with Josh every Monday.
He’s Josh. That would be accepted as a valid excuse by just about anyone who is familiar with his work.
I see no way in which this might end badly.
Of course not! What could possibly go wrong?
Battle of the Morons!
A classic matchup!

Because it’s not surprising for Josh to do anything stupidly.
Looks like he hasn’t even gotten to the “go through” part; he’s still trying (& failing) to get it open!
To no one’s surprise!
