Been an avid reader of Lana for a long time & really enjoy your artwork (also professional lurker).
But it seems something went wrong at panel 2, as Lana’s shoulder is missing under her hair.
Do keep up your great art! Really enjoy Lana’s spying adventures!
Hey Sean, first time I’ve commented, been reading a while. Just wanted to say that this is probably my favorite outfit I’ve seen on Lana, of all of the ones she’s actually worn. haha. I love your art. Keep up the good work!
Duh, could somebody translate that to Standard English, please? As far as the range accessible to non-native speakers is concerned, I always considered my English good… but this, this is way over my head 🙂
PS: Of course I mean the english-ish part. The Polish one happens to be written in my native language 😀
It’s just a bit of fun, really. I got the idea from a conversation I had with my brother about how a single language can sound so different when spoken by people from different places, almost to the point of being a different language. Nothing these girls say at any point is actually important to the story at all, but in this case she’s just complaining that Lana is following them again.
I hate to be “that guy” but could someone translate what they’re saying? I can tell it’s heavily accented, but I can’t work it out, neither here nor the other pages.
Sure, no worries! I purposely made them unintelligible for fun, and nothing they say is important to the story. The basic gist of what she’s saying here is that she’s upset that Lana is chasing them again. Some of our more cockney-attuned readers can probably decipher the exact wording, as they did in the comments for the previous pages where the girls appeared. (Oh, and the singing is Polish and also unimportant. 😀 )

Thank you! No, that’s just her coat over her shoulder.
What did she tell that guy her job was, again ?
Well, she is trying to solve a logistical problem in a way, I guess. 😀

Thank you! Glad you like it, and thanks for popping in to comment!
This kind of action is not wholly unfamiliar to Lana. She’s about to jump onto a rapidly moving hard object, after all…
Quite right! 😀
And if she mistimes it she will end up getting a pounding while being flat on her back.
When this is over, he will either be terrified, or think it was the best date ever!
Possibly both.
I’m sure Lana can think of a way to make it up to him.
At least he’s got that to (maybe) look forward to if he survives! 😀
Fatalities seem uncommon around Lana.
Ending up in the hospital and needing months of physical recovery is however… somewhat more common.
So, there is that potentially.
Right! Every cloud has a silver lining!
Something….. tells me…. the shoes are only the FIRST item that will be removed.
Why do I keep getting that feeling, Sean??
Maybe you’ve read this comic before? 😀

What’s the Polish part then?
It’s an old Polish song called Sto Lat.

I love Lana’s profile in the second panel
Thank you!
Lana, gal of action!
Even in semi-formal wear! 😀
Semi-transparent semi-formal wear? Sounds like Lana, alright.
Seems over dressed for Lana.
