If I was Lana, I’d just say, ‘If I don’t get my backup to extract the prisoner, I’m leaving since I can’t complete the mission. I already did my part, the rest is up to you.’
That’s what I learned about jobs today, if they won’t supply you the supplies or personnel needed to complete the job, then just do your part and leave, especially if you don’t get anything extra for going above and beyond your responsibilities. Why should you work harder to cover the incompetence of the bosses?
And she wouldn’t even have to talk to the sales department! π
The agency is brilliant when it comes to secrecy. Apparently Astrid doesn’t even know what kind of company she works for.
Yes, right! That’s probably why no one ever seems to know anything!
The Chief is doing this on purpose. I just know it.
It’s often hard to tell the difference between his accidents and on-purposes!
When the possible explanation is either malice or incompetence, incompetence is usually the right answer.
There’s certainly plenty of that to go around at the Agency! π
I’d say screw the agency, and go on vacation with Anastasia.
Then again, considering how Lana’s vacations usually go….
said it before, saying it again, Lana needs a new employer
She would probably agree! π
In this case, Lana’s successful run immediately struck me as suspicious – because she was on her own and had no support from her institution. But now they’re back … or rather gone.
Yes, if things are going too well, the Agency can fix that! π
plan B lana…you are your own backup. as usual
our very own self-rescuing princess!
Plan B sees a lot of action around here! π
Boy, given this Agency problems you would think HR would have been through there already and made some necessary changes.
Maybe HR is the problem! π
Not worried about Anastasia as she is … uhm, let’s call it; “less talented in the brains department” and it should be an easy sell for Lana to claim that she just bundled up her boytoy because he asked for it, so Lana could have her way (for the ‘nth time) with Anastasia again.
I am also waiting from those idiots with the tank to come crashing through the wall any minute now.
π
It’s entirely possible! π
Don’t blame the Chief, he had a coupon for a free garlic bread at Olive Garden. And it was about to expire!
Now that’s a real emergency! π
You know, that wouldn’t even surprise me.
Figures. Things were going too well for Lana. Eventually, the other shoe had to drop.
Yes, it was pretty much inevitable! π
oh manshe call lana Landry now SHES DEAD MEAT XD
She should be glad that Lana’s far away right now! π
To be fair we never met the sales team they could be superb at their jobs like Lana after all someone has to sell this agency as effective. What if they come to her rescue and save the day?
Maybe they work on commission so they’re highly motivated! π
Explaining why she always has a case to solve.
I canβt believe they have a sales team. To be that screwed up, the agency has to be government controlled.
We don’t know if they need a sales team, but we know they have one!
What if pigs fly, Derek?
C ‘mon, man!!
It could happen! π
Annnd there it is.
Typical Lana. ‘Love’ them, fog up their brain, then take what she came for and leave. Add violence to taste.
It’s a winning formula! π
That’s our Agency, always coming up with new ways of failing!
It’s the one thing they’re good at! π
Hm, you’d think by now Lana would have learned to go around him and phone a Competent Underling to get what she needs. Which suggests that the Agency has none of those!
They’re definitely in short supply!
Incorrect: they have Lana. Just because they have no others doesn’t mean they have none.
They must have hired her by accident! π
