Honestly, if HR were to actually do its job properly, Lana would be set for life: the abuse she’s put up with in the course of her career would probably result in damages that would likely triple the national debt. And the Chief wouldn’t be able to find work on the moon, it’d be too close to another human being.
Lana is not happy. You won’t like Lana when she is not happy.

Anastasia is trying to think straight after a multi-hour session with Lana. There is nowhere enough blood going to Anastasia’s brain for critical thinking.
Especially considering that her brain doesn’t have a lot of horsepower under normal circumstances anyway! 😀
And of course, the Chief either sent her after the wrong guy, or it wasn’t really that important, or the pursuers show up, or….
