Well, the shoe is on the other foot now…wait..on the other hand…hmm, this one needs a lot of work.
I am also expecting Lana to say something along the lines of; “Heel, boy.”
Keep working on it! Once you get it all laced up it’ll be a good one!
It’s strange how some people get their Kicks nowadays. 😀
*Thank you, good night!*
All these puns will no doubt lead to a few arched eyebrows from the readers.
Really? This far down in the comments and no one has done..
Boot to the Head
Really? I guess I’m the oldest person that reads this comic. Great art, great story line.
Thank you!
I appreciate the kind words, and the contribution to the ever-growing pun list. 😀
The guy Snake hired to tend the front counter…Definitely a low-class store, this is. When we saw him previously, he wasn’t dressed very well. He’s obviously not one of the Brooke’s Brothers.
No one will ever accuse Snake of being classy. 😀
I guess we should expect this sort of thing from a comic on a shoestring budget.
We work hard at it! No loafers around here! 😀
On a shoestring budget, but no loafers. So Snake doesn’t stock any Penny Loafers? Pity. Us old timers gotta have our penny loafers.
I AM LOVING the puns on this update. The puns in the comments are almost as good.
Thank you! I guess shoe stores just bring out the worst in all of us.
I see Lana wants to give him the boot.
(Also, in the second panel, shouldn’t it be “Why don’t you…” instead of “What”? Unless I am not getting yet another pun?)
If we keep up with these puns, we’ll soon be treading old ground.
Shoo! I’ve no time for your podiatrist humor!
I see you’re also dipping your toe in the water with these puns! 😀
Their going to try and out shoe-related-quip each other!
Oh. it’s on! 😀
It may be the sole reason for this scene! 😀
and not to be out done the creator of the comic is also yellow carded! 😀
😀
…and Lana gets a yellow card for bad punning. 😀
She’s working her way toward a red card, too! 😀
Come now, surely there’s no such thing as a bad pun? Lana’s got poor Snake all but laced up here. *Thank You, Thank You, I’ll be here all week…”
😀 😀
I agree, but we should probably tread lightly with these in the future.
I dunno ’bout that. Snake did recover pretty quickly. He’s gotten right back instep with the fight.
Yes, he’s quick enough to catch a fly by the wingtip!
Yes, but Lana’s reflexes are Stiletto sharp. 🙂 *bows to the groans from the crowd*
Way to pump up the conversation!
