Honestly, Lana should just go with him and lie to the Chief. That would almost certainly go better than trying to keep to the Chief’s rube-goldberg attempts at mission planning. I’m positive she can deal with Victor… plus, it’s the Chief saying he’s a double agent. That practically guarantees he’s actually on the up-and-up (and Ashley is embezzling funds… or they are both double agents. Really, with the Chief, any outcome is more probable than whatever he thinks is true).

Oh, yes, Victor is just the sort the Agency would employ, picking his name at random out of an old telephone book. One of your great character portraits, Sean! After Lana’s booty, what I most like about your art. Change of plan, maybe, but I’m guessing “the dark one with the big hooters” and Victor might still enjoy a close encounter of the third kind.

Depends on how Lana decides to knock him out. Head hit = bad cop. Complete exhaustion = very good cop. When Lana returns to The Agency she can just say that they had to leave by a certain time and he was still asleep.
