Lana must be nearly immune to low temperatures by now….
No doubt! 😀
In the Colonel Something-Something’s first bubble, shouldn’t it be “It has quite -an- unique charm”?
Also, Colonel Something-Something better keep Lana warm. That night looks rather chilly!
Yes, I suppose that would be correct usage, although I’ve never heard it that way.
You’d think that someone of his rank would know how to handle a situation like this, but we’ll have to wait and see! 😀
No, the correct usage would be “a unique …”. This is because, when pronounced, “unique” starts with a consonant, “y”. It’s “YOO-NEEK”, not “OO-NEEK”.
This contrasts with “unusual”. You’d say “an unusual …” because, when pronounced, “unusual” starts with a vowel, “u”.
Oh well, as long as we all understand each other I suppose it can work either way. 🙂
Wait, what ? Lana got to be with someone who wasn’t a totally unintelligent sleezeball ?
It could happen!
With Lana’s luck ? No it couldn’t.
I fear there is truth in this.
We can’t tell much about him on such short acquaintance. Just because he managed to say something charming once doesn’t mean he’s actually intelligent.
True, he could have been practicing that line all night in front of the mirror.
Lana, bringing the fun with her since 2008! 😀
That could be her motto! 😀
The look of a man remembering what Christmas feels like when you’re six years old.
Except now the presents unwrap themselves! 😀
Yep…She’s delivering a Coup de Grace right now… 😛
That’s right! Don’t bore us, get to the chorus!
Nothing the ‘Old City’ hasn’t seen before.
